Dental Core Training - Quality Management

Ensuring the quality of education and training is a key priority for the Postgraduate School of Dentistry.

The Quality and Regulation Team at HEEM manage the quality of postgraduate medical and dental education within the East Midlands. The aim is to improve the quality of education and training, and hence patient care, through quality management processes and by working in close partnership with NHS providers and regulators.

One of the ways in which we do this is through a programme of annual quality management visits to Trust. Further information about the visiting process is available here.

In Autumn 2014 the Postgraduate School of Dentistry visited the six NHS Trusts who deliver Dental Core Training. These visits were part of HEEM’s wider programme of quality management visits. Outcome reports for all Trusts in the East Midlands are available here.
